Meet Lady Amelia Windsor, Who is Giving Kate Middleton Some Serious Style Competition
Our new favourite London based royal, the 20-year-old college student Lady Amelia Windsor is 36th in line for the British throne. Not so long ago the stunning beauty was crowned as the ‘Most beautiful member of the British royal family’ in Tatler’s April issue. Since then all eyes of the media have been on her.
Lady Amelia’s grandfather, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and father, George Philip Nicholas Windsor, the Earl of St. Andrew’s are both cousins of the queen’s, thus making her a potential heir to the throne. Lady Amelia has two elder siblings, Edward Windsor and Lady Marina Windsor, both of them have become members of the Roman Catholic Church and therefore were barred from the line of succession to the British Throne. The royal teen is currently studying at the University of Edinburgh, has already interned with Chanel and has a great passion for fashion. In 2013 she showed up in a gorgeous Elie Saab ball gown for her Bal des Debutantes in Paris and attended Dior’s latest Cruise collection front row.
In addition to fashion, London girl Lady Amelia’s other great passion is charity work. According to her interview with Tatler, she has dedicated a lot of time and work to the Veterans Aid organization, helping the veterans with all kinds of issues. "Whether it's finding accommodation in London, dealing with an addiction or something simple like buying food, clothing, or an Oyster card. I've never seen so much hard work and passion from so dedicated a group of people." – She states.
Lady Amelia attended the National Service of Thanksgiving this June in a lovely, chic Chanel set. Very elegant, very conservative and extremely trendy London girl. She has an amazing sense of style, knows exactly how to show up to a formal event. I especially love her high-heeled sandals, they are well chosen, and these types of shoes can make your look much neater and trendier.
How cute this look is? I am in love with this outfit she opted for when showing up front row at the Dior Cruise show this May. You can never go wrong with a little black dress and those boots made the entire set so playful, but still very stylish. I am definitely sure she gained everyone’s attention with her trendy appearance.
Here comes the renowned April cover of Tatler magazine, on which she stunned in a beautiful Erdem dress and dazzled us with her amazing gorgeous eyes. Without a doubt, she truly deserved her title the princess of London!
